Case studies
What it actually took to put the engine inside a shipping keyboard extension: the constraint, the decision, and the parts of the public API the host had to reach for.
What counts as a case study here
One app, written up by the people who built it, with the constraints stated and no figures that cannot be traced back to a measurement. There is exactly one so far, and it is the app the engine was written for — so read it as an account of the design brief rather than as a reference from a stranger.
Shipping on PressboardKit?
We would like to write the next one, and we would rather it were about an app we did not build. If you have a keyboard on the engine — in review, in TestFlight or in the store — tell us what you had to bend to make it fit. Awkward findings are more useful to the next integrator than flattering ones.
